The identity for the 32nd annual African Film Festival leans into the festival’s themes of youth in revolt, displacement, global connection, and changing political climates. Through the use of layered sonar-like motifs, abstracted silhouttes, and warm fiery colors, the system alludes to the rising intensity of both environmental and political change, and comments on the subsequent movement and expansion across the diaspora.
